February 2019 NACE Meeting

TEDx NACE Austin:  2019 Trends Talks

Are you hearing all about wedding, technology, decor and food and beverage Trends for 2019? We are too, and we want to hear more! Be sure to join NACE Austin, as we share lunch, and hear from experts outside of our industry who are on the cutting edge of other creative fields which are going to effect ours. In a TED Talk type format (except with time for Q & A) we’re going to hear from three distinguished Austin professionals who work in technology, design, and food & beverage who can tell us exactly what we can expect to see in the near future! Instead of reading articles and blog posts about what you should be ready to show your clients, get up close and personal with Austin trend setters while spending time with your NACE Austin friends and colleagues.

 Angela Roark Headshot

Angela Roark, Senior Consultant
Legal Tech Media Group

Angela will be speaking about Marketing Tips and Trends for 2019!

Angela Roark is a Senior Consultant at Legal Technology Media Group and Owner of A. Roark Consulting.  Her current career encompasses interactive marketing, social media management, brand optimization and corporate event management.  For more than 15 years she has been helping small businesses and nonprofits maximize their ROI (return on investment) though tactical marketing strategies and a clear understanding of the challenges her clients face.

With her instinctive insight and resourcefulness, knowledge of the digital media platform, and practical marketing and communication skills, Angela helps her clients to focus on key factors and implement necessary changes to grow their business.  She recognizes that each client has different needs and her strategies emphasize long term solutions instead of short-term goals.

As an actual native Austinite Angela is a bit of a unicorn. Though she has lived in Australia, Minnesota and throughout Texas, she came home to where her roots were to raise her son.  She is currently in the midst of helping to plan her son’s wedding, and in her spare times she loves making new memories by traveling, getting together with friends, and trying to keep her only surviving houseplant (a Christmas Cactus) alive.
